Cozy Corners š¾ A Rainy Afternoon in Our Indoor Dog House
Share
Itās been raining since morning, and our living room feels extra cozy today āš¶. I turned on some soft jazz and noticed my dog, Milo, already curled up inside his indoor dog house ā the one with that washable plush cushion heās obsessed with.
Thereās something heart-melting about seeing him sleep soundly while the rain hits the windows. His little house has become more than a bed ā itās his personal hideaway, his safe zone. The medium size is perfect; he can stretch his paws but still feel hugged by the soft walls. Even our cat, Luna, sneaks in sometimes when Miloās not looking.
I used to think indoor houses were just bulky decor, but this one actually blends so well with the room. The neutral beige tone looks beautiful beside the sofa. And yes, the cushion is machine-washable, which has saved me countless headaches after muddy-paw adventures.
Later today, I might add a small blanket and one of his favorite chew toys inside ā kind of like decorating a mini Airbnb for dogs. Itās funny how small comforts like this can make a big difference in how peaceful a home feels.
Whether you live in a house or an apartment, giving your pet a cozy corner changes the whole mood of your space. Itās not just about keeping them warm ā itās about giving them a sense of belonging.
