☀️⛺ Perfect Outdoor Escape for Your Big Pup! ⛺☀️

Tried out a dog tent in our backyard today — more out of curiosity than anything else.
Our dog’s been looking for shade lately, especially in the early afternoon when the sun hits hardest. So instead of dragging around the patio umbrella again, we thought we’d give this canopy-style tent a try.

It was easier to set up than I expected. The whole thing folds flat and pops open kind of like a beach tent. Once the corner points were nailed into the ground, it felt surprisingly sturdy.
The fabric is thin but coated — water does bead off of it, though I wouldn't rely on it in heavy rain. More of a sunshade than a full-on shelter, to be honest.

The size is generous. Ours is 4ft x 4ft x 3.3ft, and even though our dog is medium-sized, he had enough room to stretch and roll around. I imagine a larger breed could fit just fine, though maybe not with extra gear or bedding inside.
We didn’t put anything on the floor today, just grass, but I can see it getting muddy after a while. Might lay down a mat next time.

He wasn’t sure about it at first — sniffed around, looked at us like, “Is this a trap?” 😄 But after a few minutes, he walked in and stayed there for the rest of the afternoon.

Some quick notes if you're considering something similar:
ㆍIf your yard gets windy, definitely use the included ground stakes. They help a lot.
ㆍThis isn’t meant for cold or stormy weather — think of it like a beach canopy for pets.
ㆍPut something absorbent underneath if your ground is wet or muddy.
ㆍIt’s probably best for dogs who are already crate-trained or like small cozy spaces.
